Business Developer
United Land Services is a leading commercial landscaping company providing year-round landscape maintenance and a full range of landscape services. We work with a variety of properties, including single-family home developments, condominium communities, commercial buildings, and shopping centers. Our services include landscape design and installation, irrigation, hardscapes, and ongoing maintenance, with a focus on providing reliable, high-quality service to our customers.
We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish, building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with our estimating and sales teams to respond to bids and grow the business. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in representing United Land Services at industry events, identifying new opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and helping expand our customer base.
Essential Job Functions:
Manages the sales process from start to finish.
Builds, manages, and maintains a robust sales pipeline by developing long-term relationships and communicating on a regular basis with potential key clients.
Creates proposals in response to bid requests.
Proactively researches engagement opportunities with public meetings, trade shows and industry publications for potential marketing efforts and exposure opportunities.
Works with the estimation team to ensure new bids have been responded to accurately and timely.
Works with other sales peers across the organization to develop marketing plans to ensure the consistency and accuracy of all business development media across the organization.
Keeps accurate and well-organized notes on sales calls and meetings.
Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience and 1- 2 years of landscape industry knowledge.
Valid driver’s license required, as this role may involve driving between job sites and operating company vehicles.

Ability to travel to respective client areas for meetings as needed.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
